TERMS OF SERVICE

BILLING: The quotation serves as an estimate, and not the final total cost of your move. Unless otherwise specified, all estimates are nonbinding. We will always strive to complete your move with the utmost efficiency, but please keep in mind all situations are unique and the time estimate given on this quotation serves as a guideline only. Your bill will reflect the hours actually required. Your moving “clock” begins when the crew arrives on location and ends when the job is complete, and paperwork signed. After the minimum rate, move time is billed in 30-minute increments, rounded up to the nearest half hour. The minimum rate/time will be clearly stated on your estimate. Payment must be made in full, on-site, upon job completion. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit or Cash.

BOOKINGS: Once an estimate is digitally “accepted”, one of our move coordinators will be in contact with you to explain the next steps. Bookings are not secure until a valid credit card has been provided, after which time you will receive a confirmation email.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING: All cancellation/rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation or rescheduling within 14 calendar days of your confirmed move time will result in a fee in the amount of the listed minimum rate on the reservation. This charge will be billed to the credit card provided when you booked.

WE DO NOT MOVE: People, pets, specialty items, including but not limited to: safes, pool tables, pianos etc. (piano movers have specialized equipment and training to insure your piano’s soundboard integrity).

CLIENT RESPONSIBILTY: It is the client’s responsibility to disclose pertinent information regarding the move. This includes a full and accurate list of items to be moved, accurate information regarding flights of stairs, elevator details, parking and access to locations that affect the length of the move and/or our staff’s safety. If there is undisclosed information, My Ninja Movers reserves the right to send additional crew members if needed or return at a later time of their own choosing to complete the move.

  1. PARKING: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that legal parking for our vehicle(s) is available at all locations. Any parking tickets received will be added to the final bill.
  2. ELEVATORS: The client is responsible for booking elevators and/or loading bays that the move requires. Failure to do so may add time to the job.
  3. DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY: It is the client’s responsibility to notify My Ninja Movers, prior to the move, if disassembly or assembly of any item(s) is required. Failure to do so may add time to the job. This work is not covered by warranty.

DANGEROUS GOODS: The client verifies that there are no dangerous items, such as but not limited to: gases, propellants (including propane tanks), explosives, flammable solids, pesticides, fertilizers, corrosives, and household chemicals in their contents to be transported.

HEALTH & SAFETY: My Ninja Movers reserves the right to cancel a move and charge the client the applicable cancellation fee—if upon arrival it is discovered anyone involved with the move has been exposed or is COVID-19 symptomatic. The client is responsible for any parasitic insects (bed bugs, cockroaches etc.) encountered within the premises of the origin, destination, and/or additional locations in their dispatch. The client will be responsible for reimbursing My Ninja Movers for costs incurred due to cleaning, sanitizing and delousing vehicles and/or replacing affected equipment. My Ninja Movers reserves the right to cancel a move if the conditions of any of the locations are unhygienic and/or the crew encounters any parasitic insects.

BASIC INSURANCE COVERAGE: The client is responsible to understand the terms of insurance provided by My Ninja Movers in the quote for their move. (The default level required by Ontario law is $0.60 per pound per article.)

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS: The client confirms they are the legal owner of the contents and items listed, or the authorized agent thereof, and agrees to the contract terms and conditions herein, fully understanding that the carrier’s liability is limited by terms and conditions listed on this contract. Only listed items are insured.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: In the event of any disagreements, claims, or disputes related to this Agreement/Estimate, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the issues amicably. If such resolution is not achieved, the parties agree to engage in binding mediation, with the costs to be equally shared. By clicking “ACCEPT” on the Estimate/Agreement, the Customer acknowledges their agreement to these terms and conditions.
